Care and maintenance
Ordinary maintenance involves a simple and regular brushing with a horsehair brush, easily available from a shoemaker. To remove any stains due to prolonged use, use a brush, neutral soap, and water. Rub on the shoe, which will naturally absorb the soap, and remove any excess soap with a cloth.
